About Us
We exist to multiply Christ-like multipliers until the Great Commission is completed.
Our Mission
Multiplying
Christ-like Multipliers
We believe the best way to accomplish the Great Commission is through the process of spiritual multiplication (2 Tim. 2:2). Through simple spiritual multiplication, starting with a single multiplier, the entire world could be reached in 37 years! Towards that end, our mission is to multiply Christ-like multipliers.
Our Vision
The Great Commission Completed
We are convinced that the Great Commission can be completed in our lifetimes. Although the date and timing of the Great Commission's completion is something that rests in God's hands alone, we are convinced that the command Jesus gave His followers, to make disciples of all ethnic groups (Matt. 28:18-20), should be actively pursued with the goal, intention, and commitment of completion.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Our Strategy
Mobilizing the church with Great Commission training, resources, and ministry
We do practical Great Commission ministry, including evangelism and discipleship, with ministries around the world for multiplication. This is a key element of our conferences. Since launching in 2018, we've seen tens of thousands of people indicate decisions for Jesus during evangelism application times.
We develop books, tracts, videos, podcasts, and other resources. All of our resources are Jesus focused, biblical, and geared towards equipping average believers for effective Great Commission ministry. Our transferable basic discipleship resource, the OYD, has been translated into more than 53 languages.
We train believers all over the world in evangelism, discipleship, leadership, apologetics, and ministry. Since launching in 2018, we've trained more than 80000 believers in 74 countries.
How Long will it take?
Until the Great Commission is Completed.
The GCA
Our History
The Great Commission Alliance is a non-denominational Christian ministry that is committed to multiplying Christ-like multipliers until the Great Commission is completed.
The vision of the Great Commission Alliance (GCA) grew out of the reality of spiritual multiplication that many on our team first saw in ministry with college students. Early in 2005, Nate and Erin began sensing a calling to equip the Body of Christ to multiply Christ-like multipliers (see a journal entry from then here). Later, in 2009, the GCA name was first used (see that here) and the GCA vision continued to be refined, as they began trusting God to raise money for it.
In 2017, their former ministry, gave them the green light to launch the GCA. On January 1st, 2018, Brandon and Anne Cox, Ben and Meghan Renfro, Chris and Michelle Kachuriak, and Nate and Erin Herbst launched the GCA in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Today, the team consists of 21 committed staff who have each been radically impacted by the concept of spiritual multiplication. We have seen people being won to Christ, discipled, and in turn repeating the process. Having seen actual examples of this in ministry, our team is committed to helping believers everywhere do the same. We want to help Christians everywhere become equipped to share their faith and make multiplying Christ-like multipliers.
Since launching in 2018, we've seen more than 80000 believers trained in 74 countries (including some of the most unreached countries on earth) and we've had more than 49000 decisions to trust Christ reported. God continues to grow this ministry and He is doing what only He can in and through the GCA!
